Nicole and Richards Wedding at Waylands Family Farm - Darling

There is nothing more beautiful than a close family wedding on the family farm out in the country. Darling is a beautiful little village known for its wild flowers, Pieter Dirk Uys, friendly people and so much more. Arriving at Waylands farm we had a chance to greet the whole family and walk around the old farmhouse where our bride and groom were getting dressed. On the walls hung the framed title deeds dating back to 1862 and a photo which you can see on this blog of the first Mr. Duckitt in South Africa. I'm sure if the walls could talk they would tell me about all the family weddings hosted in this beautiful old house. But today was Nicole and Richards day and it was a day to remember. The whole family pulled together and helped with every aspect of the wedding and the homemade touches were clearly made with love and a lot of thought. Nicole looked stunning as she walked out of the house ready to tie the knot with the love of her life. Charles, Darlings local antique dealer was on hand with his stunning emerald blue Rolls Royce to chaffer our lovely bride to the family church nesstled in the Darling valley. It was an honour to be part of this close famliy group for the day and to witness the coming together of this couple. Nicole and Richard, we wish you the very best for the future.
