Nicole and Gary's Wedding at Simondium Country Lodge - Franschoek

Nicole and Gary's ceremony and reception was held at Simondium Country Lodge in Franschoek; a small, intimate venue with so much character that I fell in love with it instantly at my pre-meeting with the couple.  The weather was just perfect for the outdoor reception which took place next to the large pool.  To create some shade for the guests the venue draped large white sheets  across the cermony area which created a very dreamy feel when floating around in the light breeze. Another feature of the venue everyone enjoyed was the family of peacocks strutting their stuff amongst the guests.  There is also a wonderful little corrigated iron chapel with wooden floors and tinted glass windows and this is where the couple signed their marriage papers.  We took the bridal party photos at the 'stasie', a stationary train cart complete with a little platform, just perfect for photos.   Nicole looked stunning in her gorgeous white dress as she was walked down the isle by her mom and bridesmaids all pretty in pink.  Nicole and Gary are definately one of the sweetest couples I have met and it was such a pleasure to be part of their special day.  They did an awesome job to create a beautiful wedding  and their guests had a fabulous time.
